Pipeline teams up with EmbraceBC and Inventa during B.C’s Multiculturalism Week.

Working with Inventa, one of Canada’s leading experiential marketing agencies, we were tasked to design and produce a temporary public art installation for EmbraceBC’s campaign,‘I Live Multiculturalism’. Below are photos of the campaign held in downtown Vancouver’s Robson Square during Nov.18-24th 2012.

At the center of the interactive display, is a maple tree (supplied by Greenscape Decor), people were encouraged to think and share how they live multiculturalism in their daily lives and record their thoughts onto colourful leaves and can hang their messages onto the tree branches to make the tree blossom throughout the week.

From day to night, the installation was open to the public daily during the seven day event.

Large format waterproof vinyl banners and vinyl wrap stickers cover the temporary structure and the tree support box.

For extra traction and durability, we applied a custom non-skid paint on all the walkway and staircase panels.

An enclosed locker was integrated to store a portable generator, as well as, provide a secure spot to hold the event staff's personal belongings and supplies. Look for behind the scenes photos to be posted shortly.

Working with veteran Canadian DJ Breaks duo, Synthetic Hype, we recently completed manufacturing their signature slick speaker helmet design. Below are some photos of the completed helmet.

For an added effect, we integrated LED lights equipped with a dimmer switch.

In addition to that, we fitted the helmet with a padded hard case.

Contacted by Synthetic Hype, a Canadian Breaks duo comprised of two veteran DJs, asked Pipeline to manufacture their unique speaker helmet to use during their live performances and promotional tours. Look for the finished helmet to be completed in the upcoming weeks.

About:
Synthetic Hype is a Breaks duo comprised of two veteran DJs, producers, and sound designers. Known to benchpress basslines, these two mix grit with silk. Both originally from Vancouver, Canada - they veer from the norm and away from the brain damaged 4 on the floor crowd. Their no-nonsense production and 'against the grain approach' to engineering leaves most believing the hype.
